Temple is a city in Bell County, Texas and it is located near the county seat of Belton. It lies in central Texas just off interstate 35. As of the 2010 census the population was 66,102. Temple is known for its strength as a regional medical center. It has Scott & White Memorial Hospital the largest employer in town with about ten thousand employees.
