Mansfield is a city in Ellis, Johnson, and Tarrant counties in the state of Texas. As of 2010 census the population was 56,368. In 2009 CNN/Money magazine rated Mansfield as one of the “Best Places to Live” in the US. It ranked 24th out of the top 100 places. In April of 2012, a twenty year old was being questioned by Mansfield police and he was arrested for possession of marijuana and outstanding traffic warrants. The 17 year old arrived at the Mansfield Methodist Hospital with three gunshot wounds. His friends had driven him to the emergency room. He was later taken to Methodist Hospital Dallas where he died.
