In May of 2012, DEA Special Agent in charge J.M. Arabit announced that a 50 year old was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison in connection with a death of a 22 year old Midland man.  The case revolves around an incident where prescription drugs  were sold  and these can be deadly.  The 50 year old admitted he was responsible by providing him with Oxycodone and the young man died of Oxy toxicity.
