College Station is a city in Brazos County Texas.  The city is located within the most populated region of Texas, near three of the 10 largest cities in the US.  Houston-Dallas and San Antonio.  As of 2010 census the population was 93,857.  College Station is home to the main campus of Texas A&M University, the flagship institution of The Texas A&M University System.  It owes its name and existence to the university’s location along a railroad.  In 2006 it was name the most educated city in Texas and the 11th most educated city in the US. The median income for a household was $21,180.  About 15.4% of families and 37.4% of the population were below the poverty line.  This city does have a drug problem.  College Station is in need for drug rehab.

In June 2012, The Bryan police arrested a 22 year of man and a 23 year old woman on drug charges.  They were parked at Austin’s Colony Park and the officer said he could smell drugs.  They both stated they were not smoking the marijuana but the officer found 1.4 grams of marijuana and 0.08 grams of cocaine during a search of the car.  Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.  This is just one small example of what is going on in College Station.  Drugs are a problem because they harm us in many ways.  These two young people were just out for a ride and they now face up to 10 years in prison.  Anyone with a drug problem can get help finding College Station drug rehabs.  Something can be done about it.
